Why should I choose you over the competitors?

Because we care. Your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. As you can see from our reviews, our customers love us. The reason being is that we are a family business and we treat your home exactly how we would treat our own. Too many companies treat their customers like a number. We don't. In fact, that's why I started this company in the first place.

What are your hours?

We work 24/7/365. If you have an emergency, please let us know immediately and we'll get to you as soon as possible.

What are the signs of a broken or leaky water line?

If you hear the sound of running water when no faucets are on, you may have a leak. Another sign could be that there are random puddles in your yard. A few other signs: mold growing on your walls, higher than normal water bills, and bulges in flooring and walls.

Why does my sink drain slowly?

Over time, a build-up of soaps, oils, fats, and foods can cause your sink to drain slower than normal. There could also be low points in the line or bad joints where build-up happens. If this is the case, Hesson Plumbing can help.

What should I do if I have a big leak?

The first thing is to not panic. Find where your water main shutoff valve is and shut off your water at the source. You can shut it off at the meter as well if you can't find the water main shutoff valve. After that, call us or set an appointment and we'll come fix it.

Why is my sink making strange noises?

It is most likely the valve stem. The valve stem is what controls the flow of cold and hot water to your sink. As the valve stem ages, the washers can become loose and start rotating as water flows through them. This is what causes the noise.

How do I know what size water heater to get for my house?

It really just depends. How big is your home? How many people live in it? How often is everyone home? Every household is different and this isn't really a one-size fits all kind of thing. We will be more than glad to help you out.

What do I do if my garbage disposal is jammed?

The first step is to try and hit the reset button on the bottom of the disposal. To do that, take an Allen wrench to the bottom of the disposal and crank it back and forth to get the motor moving. Once it is moving, hit the reset button and turn on the disposal to see if it works. If it doesn't, we will gladly fix it for you.
